How Tjust Rehab got help with its accounting and better insight into its finances

Reference - Outsource your accounting

Since 2017, Tjust Rehab has outsourced its accounting to Accountor, while they handle payroll and accounts receivable themselves. Magnus Lantz is one of Tjust Rehab's four partners and tells here about a stable collaboration where everything runs smoothly.

Since 1990, Tjust Rehab has offered services in healthcare and rehabilitation, and today operates two training and health facilities in Västervik. With a focus on quality, safety and service, they are a well-established and popular local company. In 2014, founder Roger Petersson handed over the baton to the Lantz and Jonsson families, who chose to continue running the company in the same spirit and also retained large parts of the workforce.

Outsource accounting - Accountor enters the picture in 2017

Stefan Karlsson from the existing workforce handled all finance-related tasks at the time of the change of ownership, which he continued to do until he got a position at Accountor in 2017. Since Magnus and the other partners knew people who worked with Accountor and were satisfied, they decided not to hire anyone new. Instead, they started working with Stefan through Accountor. They also made changes internally and from then on Åsa Jonsson took care of the payroll administration while Magnus Lantz started handling, for example, month-end closing.

"It was definitely a challenge, because Stefan had handled everything for several years and we had no complaints about it," says Magnus. "But we wanted to get a better insight into the finances, so it was a positive and instructive development that not only gave us a better overview of the company but also made us more financially viable."

Time-saving measures are introduced

When Stefan Karlsson leaves Accountor, their new contact person is Annelie Brandt, who since then handles all their bookkeeping. A person that Magnus describes as a rock, who from the start came up with suggestions for smart changes. Something that has led to large parts of the administration being digitalized and automated, which has saved both Tjust Rehab and Accountor time. In addition, Tjust Rehab has switched to Fortnox and integrated its business system BRP with Fortnox.

"Today I get clear monthly reports that are easy to follow, and Annelie always gets back to me if something special has happened," says Magnus. "She has also helped us with depreciation of, among other things, the gym equipment, which has been very valuable."

"There are never any problems"

Today, Tjust Rehab and Accountor have a frequent dialog and are heard almost daily. A smooth collaboration where Magnus always feels that he can turn to Annelie if he has any questions. Accountor's professionalism and solid knowledge make Magnus Lantz feel a strong confidence in the company. He knows that they want what's best for them and thinks it's nice to be able to let go of the bookkeeping completely and instead focus on other tasks.

"They work constantly to ensure that we have a good time and that everything works," says Magnus. "Communication also works well and we always get an answer the same day. There are never any problems really. That's how you could summarize it."
