Cell Impact: "Accountor is not just effective - they are impactful"
Outsource the entire financial operations. Being able to outsource their entire financial operations has been very valuable for Cell Impact, which has purchased payroll and accounting from Accountor since 2012. Here, their CFO Stefan Axellie tells us about the daily financial collaboration and how they also received help with the transition to a new ERP system.
Karlskoga-based Cell Impact manufactures flow plates that are part of the fuel cell engines we colloquially call hydrogen engines. A green tech technology that has been around for a long time but has not fully caught on until recent years when the benefits of hydrogen began to receive more attention in the media.
An outsourced finance department
Since 2012, Accountor has served as Cell Impact's finance department, helping with accounting and reporting, as well as payroll administration. Since Cell Impact is listed on the stock exchange, this means that Accountor has an extra important role in quality assurance and delivery of material for PM, publications, etc. Stefan Axellie knows that he can rely on salaries being paid on time every month and that the accounts are set up according to the Accounting Act.
"The most important thing Accountor helps us with is to ensure that our accounts are presented in a regular way," Stefan explains.
Full support in the transition from Fortnox to Monitor
But Accountor doesn't just help with the daily financial work. Just over two years ago, Cell Impact decided it wanted to change its ERP system to integrate accounting and reporting. ERP stands for Enterprise Resource Planning and includes finance, production, and reporting. Accountor is therefore now, with Stefan as project manager, driving the work of replacing Fortnox with Monitor's finance module, and on January 1, 2021, the migration will go live.
Fortnox is an excellent ERP system, but as a manufacturing plant, there are advantages to Monitor as it is adapted and designed for a production environment, and is especially good for production reporting.
The ongoing migration has gone smoothly, although there have been some challenges during the project. But Stefan trusts Accountor's broad experience of different ERP systems and the dedication of the employees.
"It's like switching languages from Swedish to French," says Stefan. "There are translation programs, but sometimes problems arise. But the work has gone smoothly and has never been about a lack of competence or commitment from Accountor."

For Stefan Axellie, Accountor is synonymous with service-mindedness. He specifically highlights his contact person at Accountor, as an incredibly competent person he sees as a close colleague today. He also praises the entire Accountor Karlskoga office for their competence and that they really put the customer at the center.
"You could have the same vision and business idea as Accountor, but without the right resources with the right attitude, it will not be as good," says Stefan. "Many companies can be extremely efficient and have high productivity, without being effective. Accountor is not just efficient - they are impactful."
