Personal contact and service at the heart of VO-College's long partnership with Accountor

Vård- och omsorgscollege (VO-College) has purchased accounting and payroll from Accountor since the association started in 2012. Their CEO Zenita Cider tells us here about the almost ten-year collaboration that has worked smoothly since the start.

VO-College started as a collaboration in 2008, but it was not until 2012 that the VO-College association was formed. The non-profit association is a joint organization run by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, Kommunal, Vårdföretagarna, Sobona and Fremia (formerly KFO and Idea).

VO-College has both a non-profit and business part with the mission to certify local and regional collaboration between working life and education, and to run development projects. The aim is to achieve good collaboration and improve skills supply in health and social care.

Fast pace - no problems with Accountor as a financial partner

VO-College is a small office with only four employees, but with a high turnover. When the association was formed, Accountor was chosen as its financial partner and the collaboration has continued ever since. Zenita Cider says that the organization is too small to have an employed financial manager, so thanks to Accountor they have been given a smart and cost-effective solution. She describes Accountor as knowledgeable and professional but at the same time responsive and service-oriented who step in when needed.

"Accountor jumps in quickly and helps with fire brigade calls," says Zenita. "Sometimes a task can't wait, and then it's nice to know that you get help quickly."

Accountor is always a flexible financial partner

Zenita Cider does a lot of accounting and invoicing itself, then Accountor is responsible for accounting and payroll. Zenita is very satisfied with the collaboration and says that Accountor is also usually one step ahead and guides them to good solutions so that challenges along the way are avoided.

"The other day, for example, Kamilla suggested that we in our bank should make an integration with the program provider. This gives us a link between our payments, so when our invoices are paid, it is automatically registered, which is very smooth."

A few years ago, a successful transition was also made from Palette to Fortnox, and Zenita sees only advantages with the user-friendly system.

A well-functioning collaboration that continues indefinitely

Zenita Cider emphasizes how important she considers personal contact and service to be for them. How valuable it is to have a dedicated contact person who gets to know the organization and constantly looks after their needs.

"I'm very happy and I have no thoughts of changing providers," says Zenita. "I find it hard to see what should be done differently. We have the best solution for us."
