This year, Accountor takes extra care of the sick children and supports My Special Day
Instead of Christmas gifts to our customers, have we at Accountor in recent years donated money to a charity at Christmas time. Last Christmas, we chose to support the mental health as a common cause at Accountor, in all countries.
This year, both we Accountorians and our customers had the opportunity to influence which charity we would donate to and 1500 persons had their say.
We care about people first and foremost
At Christmas time, we Accountorians really seem to have embraced our "People First" principle: the poll results show that we care most about people. While all the options that supported people in one way or another were popular, it was the charities that support sick children that received the most votes.
This year as well has been an exceptional year with corona. The pandemic has overshadowed most other issues, so also other illnesses. But illnesses are always around, so it feels good that we in Sweden will support sick children through supporting the foundation My special Day (Min Stora Dag). My Special Day makes a difference for children and adolescents with critical illnesses and diagnoses.
My Special Day fulfils wishes and creates joyful experiences for children with serious illnesses and diagnoses. A Special Day gives strength to continue fighting in a tough everyday life.
