Accountor strengthens its position as the leading financial management service provider in the Nordics through three acquisitions - Pohjanmaan Ekonomitoimisto, Tietokauha and Anylator become part of Accountor
To support its growth strategy, on July 1, 2021, Accountor acquired three companies specializing in financial administration services in the Nordic countries. With the transactions, a total of nearly 150 employees and about 3000 customers will be transferred to Accountor.
In Finland, Accountor acquired Pohjanmaan Ekonomitoimisto Oy and Tietokauha Oy, and in Sweden Anylator. Through the transactions, Accountor will improve its service capability in Sweden and Southern Ostrobothnia in Finland. Accountor, which has grown rapidly in recent years, aims to be close to its customers with country-wide office networks.
"For several years now, we have invested heavily in customer-oriented service processes, as well as in the modern technology and automation that support them. With our new way of working, we offer more advanced and high-quality services to our customers in all our countries,” says Niklas Sonkin, CEO of Accountor, and at the same time welcomes the expert employees of the companies that have now been acquired to Accountor.
The current management will be responsible for the companies' business operations and their integration into Accountor. There will be no immediate changes to customers.
“Our customers clearly benefit from the merger. In the future, they will have access to Accountor's wide range of services and the opportunity to take advantage of the industry's most advanced electronic financial management services. We are also able to better respond to the increased challenges brought by our customers due to internationalization”, tells Anu Keski-Filppula, Managing Director of Pohjanmaan Ekonomitoimisto.
"Accountor is a desired partner for us, with whom we can strengthen both our expertise and our growth," says Tietokauha's Managing Director Mari Viertola.
"Accountor is a pioneer in digitization, with a strength in its advisory services in VAT, tax, corporate affairs and qualified accounting services. Now our customers get closer access to this competence. This will further enhance our offering. We will also be part of something bigger, both in Sweden and internationally, with all that implies in more development opportunities for the staff”, says Mats Berg, Managing Director of Anylator.
